5 VALENTINE’S DAY OUTFIT IDEAS PERFECT FOR EVERY WOMAN

Guess what holiday is right around the corner?… If you guessed Valentine’s Day then you guessed right!

Valentine’s Day, believe it or not, is one of my favorite holidays. I’m not sure if it’s because I was conceived around this time (shoutout to all the Valentine’s Day babies born in November) or because of how my family and I celebrated it growing up.

I know many people do not like Valentine’s Day because they think it is a holiday for people who are in relationships, but in my household, Valentine’s day was celebrated a little differently.

My mom made Valentine’s Day a “LOVE” Day for my family. She dressed the house with red decorations and gifted us with presents. She also prepared Valentine’s Day dinner for us like it was Christmas or something.

Furthermore, when my sister and I went off to college, she drove all the way to our school to bring us our yearly presents (she doesn’t play about gifts chile) and spend quality time with us (I know, I have the coolest mom EVER).

Valentine’s Day is a big deal in our household and I always see it as a day to celebrate EVERYONE you love, not just your significant other (P.s. this is definitely a tradition I am carrying down to my family).

I know many peoples Valentine’s Day may look a little different because of Corona, but I still want to give you some dope outfit ideas you can wear while celebrating LOVE. Whether you are having a date night with bae, a girl’s night, a family dinner, or just a chill night in the house, these outfits are sure to make you feel beautiful and confident.

Below I listed 5 Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas perfect for every woman. Let me know which fit is your favorite!

5 VALENTINE'S DAY OUTFIT IDEAS

“Red Hot”

What I’m wearing: Blazer: SHEIN (old), bodysuit: Old, Try this one HERE; Pants: TJ Maxx (old), HERE is a similar one; Shoes: PAYLESS (no longer available) try this one HERE

So I decided to start off with a red outfit since we are talking about Valentine’s Day. What I love about this fit is the contrast between the houndstooth and red blazer. The red blazer gives me sexy, powerful, and independent vibes and the pants give me chic but still modest vibes.

Remember there is nothing wrong with wanting to look EXTRA good on Valentine’s Day. You can be poppin without showing everything…You can be sexy yet chic and sensible.

“Warm Weather Chillin”

What I’m wearing: Blazer: MISSGUIDED; tank top: SHEIN; Jeans: TARGET (old) try this one;

I know not everyone celebrates Valentine’s Day in cold weather, so I wanted to give an alternative option for those of you who live in a warmer state/country during this time.

I wore this outfit in California to brunch during a mini-vacation I had on Valentine’s Day last year. I love it because it’s very simple, but also classic. Not to mention, this blazer is of great quality. If you do not own blazers in your closet, you definitely need to look into getting some soon.

5 VALENTINE'S DAY OUTFIT IDEAS

“It’s The Neutral Tones For Me”

What I’m wearing: Jacket: SHEIN; turtleneck: SHEIN (old) try this one; Leather pants: MISGUIDED

This is one of my favorite outfits because of the jacket. I love how big and extra it is. I also love how warm, cozy, and long the jacket is.

If you want to make a statement and remind your man that you are the best he EVER HAD (I’m joking lol…actually…no, I’m serious), you definitely want to wear something like this on Valentine’s Day.

“All Black With a Pop of Color”

What I’m wearing: Coat: SHEIN (old), Turtleneck (old) try this one HERE; jeans Fashion Nova (old), try this one HERE.

So this is another simple outfit that can be taken to a 10 with a good quality jacket. Here is a quick fashion tip: If you want to elevate an all-black outfit just add a nice coat, shawl, jacket, etc. It makes it look like you tried even though you didn’t. Also, wearing all black makes you look skinnier and more put together, so keep that in mind when looking for your V-Day outfit.

This coat in particular is one of my all-time favorites because of the color block. Not to mention, my natural hair looks so full and luscious in this picture…I LOVE IT!

Now ya’ll know I couldn’t do a Valentine’s Day outfit without including white sneakers. I love this fit because it’s super comfortable and chill. This is great for movie dates, picnics, or anything that involves a lot of walking.
